Punjab National Bank (PNB) offers a wide range of convenient payment solutions to their credit cardholders. Cardholders can pay their credit card bill either online or offline. Some of the popular payment modes are using cash, net banking, cheque, Visa Money Transfer, and ECS.

Punjab National Bank Credit Card Bill Payment- Online Modes

  1. Auto debit
    1. Log in to your PNB net banking account
    2. Set up standing instructions for auto debit
    3. Choose either the minimum due amount or the total due amount
    4. Set the date for auto debit
    5. Enter the One-time Password you receive on your registered mobile number in the space provided
    6. Confirm the details
  2. Online payment/ BillDesk
    1. Visit BillDesk website
    2. Register if you are a new user
    3. Login with your credentials if you are a registered user
    4. Enter your credit card details
    5. Enter the amount you wish to pay
    6. Enter your e-mail ID and phone number
    7. Choose the payee bank account
    8. Process the payment
  3. Electronic Clearing Service (ECS)
    1. Download the ECS form from PNB website
    2. Submit the duly-filed form at your bank
    3. Funds will be debited from the next billing cycle
  4. PNB netbanking
    1. Login to your PNB net banking account
    2. Link your credit card
    3. Click on 'Pay Credit Card Bill'
    4. Confirm the transaction
    5. Funds will be debited instantly
  5. National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)Once you have added the credit card as beneficiary, you can pay your bill instantly.
    1. Log in to any bank's netbanking account
    2. Choose 'NEFT' under 'Funds Transfer'
    3. Add your PNB credit card as a beneficiary using these details
    4. Name of the bank: Punjab National Bank

    7. Type of bank account: Current account
    8. Account number: Your PNB credit card number

  6. Visa Money Transfer Facility
    1. If you have a Visa debit or credit card and your bank has Visa Money Transfer facility, you can pay your PNB credit card through this facility

Punjab National Bank Credit Card Bill Payment- Offline Modes

If you do not wish to pay your PNB credit card bill online, you can choose to pay it offline by cash, cheque, or demand draft.

  1. Cash Payment:
    1. Visit any Punjab National Bank branch
    2. Fill out the deposit slip
    3. Enter your PNB credit card number in the account number row
    4. Enter the amount
    5. Enter your mobile number
    6. Sign the deposit slip and present it at the counter
    7. Collect the payment receipt from the teller
  2. Cheque/ Demand draft
    1. Draft a cheque/demand draft in favor of PNBXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX (16-digit PNB credit card number)
    2. Drop the cheque/demand draft at any one of the drop boxes placed at all PNB ATMs and bank branches

Punjab National Bank Credit Card Statement

If you are a PNB credit cardholder, you will receive a credit card statement every month to your registered mailing address or e-mail ID if you have opted for e-statements. Your PNB credit card statement will have important information about your credit card such as the due date, the accumulated reward points, interest charges if levied, the minimum due amount, the total outstanding due amount, and the billing start and end date. Your credit card statement will also list out all the debit and credit transactions made on your card with the date of the transaction, the transaction amount, and the merchant's name.

FAQs on PNB Credit Card Bill Payment

  • Does PNB charge any fee for cash payments?

    No. Punjab National Bank does not charge a fee for cash payments made towards credit card.

  • What if my bank account is not funded for the auto debit?

    If in any month your account is not funded on the planned date of the auto debit, the payment will be dishonoured and you will be charged a fee of Rs.100. If your auto debit payment is dishonoured 2 consecutive times, the auto debit facility will be cancelled automatically.

  • Can I choose any amount when I set-up auto debit for my PNB credit card payment?

    You can choose to pay the minimum due amount or the total outstanding due amount. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to select any other amount to be auto debited.

  • Can I pay less than the minimum due amount on the PNB website?

    Yes. You will be allowed to pay whatever amount you wish to pay on the Punjab National Bank's website. However, if you have not paid at least the minimum due amount in any billing cycle, the bank will record it as a default on the payment for that particular month and a late fee will be levied. The bank also reserves the right to increase your finance charges if you have high outstanding dues.

  • Can I reach the Punjab National Bank customer care department via e-mail?

  • How many days in advance should I drop my cheque or demand draft before the due date?

    A demand draft or a cheque must be dropped at the MINC bill boxes within four days prior to the due date.

  • Can I make my credit card bill payment on the last day?

    To avoid any charges for late payments, it is recommended to pay your credit card bill in advance.

  • What should I do if I entered the wrong credit card number while making a payment?

    For security reasons, the credit card number has to be entered twice while making a payment. If you have entered the wrong credit card number, you can reach out to the bank's customer care for further assistance.
