This new system is integrated with registration offices for automated mutation services or records. It requires dual authentication through biometric access and location-based access of data which leads to enhanced and tamper-proof security. Distribution Of Land

Eligible beneficiaries of vested land can get the properties distributed to them for agricultural purposes under section 49(1) of the WBLR Act, 1955. Families who don't own any land or who own only less than one acre of land or 0.4048 hectares of land can claim eligibility for this. For a landless person, the maximum land area that can be distributed is one acre. If the person is a bargadar, half the land cultivated by them is considered to be eligible for them.

Land Reforms
