Yes, 2.5% of the transaction amount or Rs.10 whichever is higher will be levied as surcharge when you use the SIB debit card for fuel purchases.
3D secure password is mandatory for all transactions carried out online using the card. You can create the 3D secure password by registering through the SIB net banking portal. Alternatively, customers can also register when being redirected to 3D secure homepage when making an online transaction.
Using the South Indian Bank debit card, customers can carry out utmost 10 ATM withdrawal transactions using the card and 10 PoS/online transactions.
The ATM cards with magnetic strip are valid for 5 years and the validity of EMV chip cards is 5 years from the date of issue.
